James

Experience: James has worked at Harrow Academy UK since November 2010.  He began teaching EFL in 2006 when he moved to China, a country where he taught all age groups and abilities for over two and a half years.  After leaving China behind, James then moved to Spain.  There, he continued to teach EFL at a number of businesses across Madrid before deciding the time was right to move to London, where he has also completed an MA at Brunel University.

Hometown: Bridlington, East Yorkshire (by the sea!)

Hobbies: James likes playing, watching and talking about sport… especially football.  He is also going to run his first half-marathon soon, so he’s going to try and only eat small pieces of our students’ birthday cakes this summer.  Away from sport, James likes reading as much as possible, writing and watching lots of films.

Interesting fact: James once wrote a play which was performed for two weeks at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
